Lenovo has partnered with Intel to launch a new Classmate PC. The classmate + new Lenovo is essentially a renamed version of the Classmate PC from Intel. Like other models of the Classmate, is also based on Intel reference series learning design.
The classmate + Lenovo has a 10.1-inch screen. It is powered by an Intel Atom N455 1.66 GHz and runs on Windows 7. The netbook also features 1GB of RAM, 1.3 megapixel webcam and WiFi. The two 3-cell and 6 cell battery options available.
Like other models of the Classmate, Classmate + not directly accessible to consumers. On the contrary, are sold in bulk to institutions or organizations, especially in the developing world. And Lenovo says the company has already received 158 000 units for students in Buenos Aires.
